Resection of Pituitary Adenoma
Mrs Rochelle Hope was referred by her General Practitioner to Dr Rammutla in June 2017. MRI scan was performed and diagnosis was confirmed of a Pituitary Tumor. Mrs. Rochelle Hope was taken to theatre where a septoplasty and sphenoidotomy via a left hemitransfixion was done and resection of pituitary tumor. Histology confirmed features of a pituitary adenoma. Mrs Rochelle Hope was a great candidate for Gamma Knife Therapy at Milpark Hospital under the supervision of Dr Rammutla and Dr Frank Persson.

Mr Strauss was booked for a Craniotomy for removal of tumor. A Simpson Grade 2 removal was achieved with no residual neurological deficits.
